Each Vignale model is tailor-made to the customer's wishes and manufactured with a high proportion of manual work. Both the mid-size Kuga and the top-of-the-line Edge SUV model stand out with exclusive specifications and high-quality materials. These include, for example, honeycomb-quilted leather trim, special Vignale body colors and the honeycomb-look radiator grille. Technical highlights include the adaptive headlight system, which automatically adjusts the beam angle of the xenon headlights to the current lighting conditions. The advanced Ford SYNC 3 communications and entertainment system is more responsive and easier to control by voice. Its 8-inch touchscreen recognizes tap commands as well as swipe commands for the first time.
Edge only with diesel
Four engine options are available for the Kuga Vignale: a 1.5-liter EcoBoost gasoline engine with 150 or 182 hp (from CHF 35,500) and a 2.0-liter turbo diesel with 150 hp or 180 hp (from CHF 38,500). The more powerful versions are available exclusively with all-wheel drive. 6-speed automatic for the gasoline engine or PowerShift automatic with dual-clutch transmission for the diesel are optional. The Edge Vignale is available exclusively with all-wheel drive and 2.0-liter turbo diesel with 180 hp (6-speed manual, from CHF 58500.-) or 210 hp (bi-turbo, PowerShift automatic). Vignale is more than just an equipment line, however. The customer benefits from additional services such as home delivery of the vehicle or the offer of various social and leisure activities.
