Ford: Sporty models sprint on trend

This is shown by data and sales figures from Ford, for example. In the first three quarters of 2016, more than 22,200 Focus RS, Focus ST and Fiesta ST models were sold across Europe. Orders for the new Ford Focus RS alone have amounted to more than 9,100 units since its market launch. The Ford Focus RS, the Ford Focus ST as a petrol or diesel model and the new Ford Fiesta ST, which is available for the first time as a three- or five-door model - they all offer a variety of modern technologies that make driving easier and more comfortable.
Sporty vehicles with practical attributes also appeal to older car buyers, so having a family no longer rules out a sporty car. And for some customers, the wish for a sleek dream car comes true late in life. The Ford Fiesta and the Ford Focus as well as the Ford Mondeo and soon the Ford Kuga are available as ST-Line model variants. The new ST-Line model range has been designed for customers who value a sporty image, but do not require the full range of performance and equipment of the thoroughbred Ford ST models.
