Worldwide registrations in 2017 totaled 125,809 vehicles. In Europe, Ford sold around 35,000 Mustangs between 2015 and March 2018. And in Switzerland, the new Ford Mustang is already available to order from 43,000 Swiss francs with a sportier exterior design and optimized interior with soft-touch materials and 12-inch digital instrument cluster.
Also available with ten-speed automatic transmission on request
The improved powertrain includes a 5.0-liter V8 engine with an output of 450 hp, which is available with a ten-speed automatic transmission as an option. Its acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 4.3 seconds. Optionally, the Ford new Mustang can also be supplied with the MagneRide damping system, which adapts even faster to changing road conditions. In addition, a so-called good neighbor mode can also be programmed. It automatically ensures that the new Ford Mustang remains particularly quiet at certain times - for example, when the 5.0-liter engine is started in the early morning hours.
The special edition Mustang Bullitt comes with 464 hp
The Ford Mustang Bullitt will be available to order in either Iridium Black Mica or the Dark Highland Green of the movie car. Its 5.0-liter V8 engine is expected to have an output of 464 hp as well as a maximum torque of 529 Nm. Another highlight is its 1000-watt premium B&O Play sound system with twelve speakers for maximum sound enjoyment.
