Ferrari: Museum presents solar vehicles
TRIP TIP Cars unusual for the brand are on display in a special show at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. On display are experimental vehicles built by students for the international Solar Challenge. On display in the Museum's Congress Center is the Emilia 4, the latest development result of the students of the Istituto d'Istruzione Superiore A. Ferrari, the
University and the ITS Maker Consortium in collaboration with the University of Bologna, Ferrari itself and other companies.
In October, the solar-powered four-seater is scheduled to traverse Australia in the 2019 Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, competing against vehicles from international teams.
Exhibition until August 15
The museum also displays other cars designed and developed by the students down to the smallest detail, including the Emilia 3, which won the American edition of the competition last year, in which the Maranello university was the only participant from Europe.
The exhibition can be visited free of charge until August 15 from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
