The Female Innovation Forum also launched the first Female Innovator Of The Year Award. Initiator Sandra Stella Triebl: "There are plenty of awards and events for start-up companies, but the number of male applicants often outweighs the number of male-led business ideas. There has not yet been a platform that is exclusively aimed at women with forward-looking and sustainable business models."
The first Female Innovator Of The Year Award
Under the motto "Make Ideas Bigger Faster Together", the event featured keynote speeches, workshops and networking, and concluded with the presentation of the awards. Dr. Nadja Mrosek took home the prize for Female Innovator Of The Year. She is co-founder of the Swiss biotech company Glycemicon, which conducts research in the field of blood glucose and weight management. The Recognition Award went to Melanie Kovacs, who teaches coding to interested people with her master 21 academy.

Stéphanie Borge, Director Brand Management and Member of the Executive Board BMW Switzerland: "Just like the Female Innovation Forum, we want to make a difference at BMW.
