Interested companies can apply online for the Family Business Award until April 30, 2019. The award is open to Swiss family businesses that stand out for their sustainable entrepreneurial spirit and employ more than 25 people.
Important for applicants: The chairmanship of the board of directors or the operational management must be held by a family member and the majority of the capital must be owned by the family.
Memory of company founder Walter Haefner
Since 2012, AMAG has endowed the Family Business Award in memory of the company's founder, Walter Haefner, to honor particularly entrepreneurial and sustainable family businesses. The award is intended to promote the mindset, values and commitment of family businesses, as well as to underscore their importance for the Swiss economy.
Expert jury evaluates applications
The winning company is selected by a ten-member jury consisting of experienced personalities with excellent professional credentials. The jury is chaired by Dr. Karin Lenzlinger Diedenhofen, Delegate of the Board of Directors and owner of Lenzlinger Söhne AG.
