DAF premiere at Wirag anniversary

The cheerful crowd of guests met on the premises of the Wirag branch in Winterthur for a lavish aperitif. As star guest and Swiss premiere, the new DAF XF in noble royal blue was presented. The new XF series features so-called Multitorque engines which, in combination with the new Traxon transmission, enable extremely economical driving. Fuel savings of up to 7 % compared to the already frugal predecessor models are realistic. At the same time, the guests were also introduced to a new CF 450 FT, which boasts a tare weight of just 6600 kg. The new vehicle presentation was supplemented by a DAF XF 480 FTP with a small leading axle and a total weight of 23,900 kg with an unladen weight of only 8150 kg. Afterwards, the troop visited a performance of Karl's Kühne Gassenschau. The anniversary guests enjoyed the beautiful vehicles, the great ambience in imperial weather and let the evening end with a cozy nightcap. By the way, Wirag AG has also been an official dealer and service partner of Tatra Trucks since the beginning of 2016.
