For the participants, there was no way around Dacia. The reason: the mud pack. The Dacia obstacle delivered exactly what it promised: mud, and more mud. It's safe to say that many a person would probably have wished for the dry interior of a Dacia Duster 4×4 at this very spot, at least on the second run.
Joy of life in a simple and uncomplicated way
The pace was somewhat less strenuous in the Village. Those who had completed the 18 kilometers and 46 obstacles could take a souvenir photo for free at the Dacia stand. Frédéric Sfez, Marketing Director Renault Suisse SA: "The running event in Engelberg exceeds all expectations from year to year, but always remains true to its roots. It is also part of the joie de vivre that we pass on to our customers in a simple and uncomplicated way. And it fits perfectly with the many smiling faces we've seen in Engelberg - on both sides of the fango pack."
