A Cupra Formentor was transported by helicopter to its new destination in the Saas-Fee region.
The collaboration between the Cupra car brand and Saastal Bergbahnen could not be more spectacular: On the Mittelallalin, 3500 meters above sea level, at the highest revolving restaurant in the world, a Cupra Formentor is enthroned in the midst of the glacier landscape above Saas-Fee.
The CO2 emissions caused during transport by helicopter were offset one hundred percent by Cupra Switzerland in cooperation with the myclimate foundation to finance carbon offset projects.

Purely electric range of 48 kilometers
The heart of the special model is the plug-in hybrid drive. It combines the power of a 150 hp 1.4 TSI gasoline engine with an 85 kW electric motor (115 hp). The system provides 204 hp.
The combination of combustion and hybrid technology allows the driver to choose how the Formentor should provide its power: in combustion or electric mode - or both.
This efficiency is achieved by the powerful 13-kWh lithium-ion battery. The e-technology stores enough energy for a range in pure electric mode of up to 48 kilometers. From a standstill, Spanier sprints to the 100-km/h mark in 7.8 seconds and accelerates to a maximum of 205 km/h.
Equipment leaves almost nothing to be desired
The Formentor already has extensive basic equipment, including a digital cockpit, keyless locking and starting system, LED headlights for low and high beam, high beam assistant, lane departure warning system, 3-zone Climatronic, sports seats and silver alloy wheels.
In addition, at a price advantage of 3250 francs, there are: navigation system, Connect Remote & Access, Connect Online infotainment, winter package, heated front seats, Top View Camera, LED interior lighting, as well as an extension of the manufacturer's warranty for the third and fourth year or a maximum of 80 000 kilometers.
The price advantage of 9750 francs of the special model is made up like this: Allalin bonus 5250 francs, 1000 francs for the extra equipment and the e-premium accounts for 3500 francs.
