Alberto Torrecillas, exterior designer of the Cupra Formentor: "The wind shapes the rocks. That led me to design the side line in such a way that it reflects the vehicle's dynamism and conveys a sense of movement, even when the vehicle is stationary."
Changing colors of the Mediterranean Sea
When the north wind blows, the color of the otherwise turquoise-blue water changes. The serpentine that winds its way across the Formentor Peninsula is a maze of curves designed in the 1930s by Italian engineer Antonio Parietti. He based his design on the strong northwest winds.
Alberto Torrecillas: "My first drive with the Formentor on this cliff road against such a magical backdrop was an incredible experience. It's a unique feeling to drive a vehicle you designed yourself in such a spectacular landscape."
