The team of brand ambassadors has long included personalities such as German national goalkeeper and FC Barcelona goalkeeper Marc ter Stegen and racing driver Mattias Ekström. The Swede will compete in the Extreme E racing series next year with purely electrically powered buggies.

One ambassador is also the well-known racing professional and event manager Fredy Barth, who is in action for Switzerland.

Hollywood star presents Leon e-Hybrid
To mark the market launch of the Cupra Leon e-Hybrid, the Spanish company is presenting a commercial featuring the brand's first electrified model. The protagonist is Hollywood star Daniel Brühl.

The German with Spanish roots is known from movies like "Inglorious Basterds," "Rush," "Good Bye, Lenin!" and TV productions like "The Alienist."

Campaign runs on social networks
The film music for the commercial was composed, arranged and produced exclusively by the multi-award-winning jazz musician Kamasi Washington. Daniel Brühl can be seen at the wheel of the new model.

The campaign, which is based on a multi-platform strategy, will be seen for the first time in some Cupra markets. The digital campaign will additionally be supported on social networks.

Ana-Maria is new ambassador as of 2021
Ana-Maria Crnogorčević, a defender with FC Barcelona, will be Cupra's ambassador in Switzerland from 2021. Two partners that are a perfect match. The Spanish manufacturer celebrates success with sporty vehicles and the Swiss soccer player shows time and again how to score points.

Career began at the age of five
With the Swiss national team, the 30-year-old is proving her strengths in attack. Ana-Maria played 29 times for the U-19 national team and scored 25 goals, while in the senior national team she scored 60 goals in 123 international matches.

The record goalscorer began her career at the age of eleven with FC Steffisburg. In 2004, she moved to FC Rot-Schwarz Thun. After Hamburger SV and 1. FFC Frankfurt, she played in the National Women's Soccer League for Portland Thorns FC. In December 2019, she joined FC Barcelona.

Swiss power for FC Barcelona
Now comes the unexpected step into another world. Ana-Maria was surprised when Cupra asked if she would like to represent the brand. She accepted immediately.
