Crown Supercoach: Oldie as Stromer a Goldie 🎥
WHERE TO MEET The vintage Crown Supercoach bus has been a popular sight in Munich for many years. Christian and Peter Fragner have now converted one of these models into an electric bus.
The Munich transport company Fragner is breaking new ground with the newly built historic Crown Supercoach school bus. The special bus will be used in the future for dinner hopping in Bavaria's capital. It is thus intended to underline the company's commitment to sustainable mobility and the preservation of historic vehicles. Converting existing vehicles can certainly be better than buying new ones, because it saves raw materials and energy for the production of new vehicles. This is how the oldie became a sustainable Goldie.
Tradition and sustainability
Converting the classic car into an electric bus will not only reduce local CO2-emissions to zero (Galerie Mitte), but also significantly reduces the noise level. The bus can accommodate an exclusive group of dinner-hopping participants and allows them to discover the culinary delights of Munich while admiring the city's historical and cultural sights.
Managing Director Christian Fragner: "We are proud that we were able to realize this project. The environmentally friendly conversion of the Crown Supercoach shows that tradition and sustainability are not opposites."
In operation until the beginning of October
The dinner hopping team will be on the road with the new electric bus until October to present the state capital in a special way to guests and locals. All information about the dinner hopping offer and booking options can be found on the website of the Fragner transport company.
