Caravan Salon: This is the new Camper Nugget 🎥
PREMIERE As a Swiss premiere, Ford is presenting two new variants of the Nugget camper range at the Suisse Caravan Salon in Bern: the stylish Active and the tough Trail with standard mechanical limited slip differential.
The Trail variant is equipped with a mechanical limited-slip differential for more traction.
Both versions were developed to meet individual customer requirements even better - especially with regard to the look of the vehicles, the interior and the ability to get through on unpaved roads.
Life in freedom away from paved roads
Nicolas Pizzuto, Head of Commercial Vehicles, Ford Switzerland: "To enhance the sense of adventure, we are offering our customers two more Nugget variants, the Nugget Trail and Active, which make living in absolute freedom possible even off paved roads. In mid-2022, we will also launch another trim level, model-named Limited, which will appeal to prospective customers who want to enjoy an even more comfortable interior and more luxury on their camping vacation."
Nugget Active for style-conscious customers
The new Active variant was developed primarily for those customers who value comfort, high-quality finishes and a stylish appearance while keeping their vehicle fully functional. A standard 2.6-meter awning for short-wheelbase vehicles provides shelter and shade outdoors.
The new light wood floor in yacht deck design adds a luxurious touch to the living area, while being hard-wearing and easy to clean. Textured satin surfaces, black countertops and aluminum decors add high-end accents, as do the partial leather seats. And the LED interior lighting can be adjusted in brightness and color temperature.
The Ford Nugget Active can be ordered immediately from 69 646 Swiss francs with short wheelbase and also as Nugget Active Plus with extended wheelbase from 74 760 Swiss francs. The Ford Nugget Active is built exclusively with a pop-up roof.
Durable leather on swivel front seats
The appearance of the Nugget Trail (pictures in the gallery) is dominated by its matte black Ford grille, which is inspired by the iconic Raptor performance models and hints at the outdoor character of this camper van.
The Trail's outdoor design theme continues in the living area, with all Trail models featuring durable black leather on the swiveling front seats and 3-passenger rear bench seat as standard.
Another highlight of the Trail variant, in addition to the two sliding side doors, is the standard mechanical limited-slip differential for noticeably more traction on slippery surfaces.
The Nugget Trail can be ordered from 65 273 francs. The Ford Nugget Trail will be offered with a short wheelbase and also as a Nugget Trail Plus with a long wheelbase from 70 283 francs and with a pop-up roof.
