The film premiered the other day at the Cannes Film Festival. "And We Go Green" gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the electric racing series and highlights the importance of the ABB FIA Formula E Championship as a testing ground for electric mobility and its effectiveness in combating climate change and air pollution.
Hollywood sends its regards
The exclusive event took place in a secluded villa outside Cannes. The event was hosted by Formula E founder and CEO Alejandro Agag. Among his guests were Hollywood stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Orlando Bloom, as well as Brooklyn Beckham, Hana Cross, Adriana Lima, Pixie Lott, Oliver Cheshire and Dua Lipa. A number of Formula E drivers also did the honors, including current champion Jean-Éric Vergne, his teammate André Lotterer, Sam Bird, Lucas di Grassi and Nelson Piquet Jr.
Last race before the E-Prix Bern
Agag and his drivers then traveled to Berlin, where the tenth race of the season will be held on Saturday at Tempelhof airfield. It is also the last race before the E-Prix Bern on June 22.
The German Formula E race can be seen live on TV in Switzerland on Eurosport1 (12:45 to 2:15 p.m.) and ARD (1 to 2 p.m.), as well as on ABB Formula E's YouTube and Facebook channel. MySports Switzerland will bring a recording from 6 to 7 pm.
