Jacob & Co's watch celebrates Bugatti's fastest production car in the world.
After the "Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon", watchmaker Jacob & Co. and Bugatti have jointly created another masterpiece.
Homage to Chiron Super Sport 300+
As the name suggests, it is inspired by the fastest hypercar ever built - the Chiron Super Sport 300+1.
It was as if time stood still when, less than a year ago, Bugatti became the first series manufacturer to break the mythical 300-mile barrier (AutoSprintCH reported).
World record with 490.484 km/h top speed
Behind the wheel of a Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300+, Le Mans winner Andy Wallace set the world record with an incredible 490.484 km/h.
To properly celebrate the fastest production car in the world, Jacob & Co. has managed to capture the essence of the Super Sport 300+ in the design as well as the technology of their new creation.
Forged carbon housing
The Twin Turbo Furious Bugatti 300+ features a double three-axis tourbillon movement in black titanium that includes a decimal minute repeater and a single-pusher chronograph with reference time. Surrounded by a case bearing the Swiss Made indication in forged carbon and black DLC titanium, the watch reflects the exposed carbon fiber body of the hypercar.
Acoustic indication is available as required
The mere presence of a tourbillon in the movement already puts an exclusive timepiece in the royal class. Jacob & Co. went one step further with the Twin Turbo Furious 300+ and integrated two accelerated triple-axis tourbillons into its design.
To simplify the acoustic display of the time, a signal sounds at ten-minute intervals after the hours and before the minutes, if required.
