The Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Bicompax Annual Lucerne matches the color of the family car.

The Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Bicompax Annual Lucerne, which is on sale in a limited edition, was inspired by a classic car with a remarkable history. The watch, whose colorful details are reminiscent of the Lincoln Cosmopolitan Town Sedan (gallery left and right), is a tribute to the Bucherer family, to an exceptional car and to the city of Lucerne.

Inspiration through design language of the classic car
The car originally belonged to Carl Eduard Bucherer, the son of CFB founder Carl Friedrich Bucherer. Over the years, it changed hands several times. In 2013, Jörg G. Bucherer, Carl Eduard's son, bought the vehicle back and had it extensively restored.

The car, which was born in 1949, also has a special significance for the CEO of Carl F. Bucherer.

Sascha Moeri: "Our designers and watchmakers have been inspired by the owner's passion, but also by the design language of the classic car, and have created a great timepiece."

Stainless steel case with 41 millimeters diameter
The Carl F. Bucherer Heritage Bicompax Annual Lucerne has a stainless steel case with a diameter of 41 millimeters on a multi-link Milanaise stainless steel bracelet. Also included is a calfskin strap.

The silver dial features light blue subdials with the minute and second counters, as well as a light blue ring with a tachymeter scale.

Paintwork reminiscent of the restored automobile
The light blue color is reminiscent of the paintwork of the automobile restored by Jörg G. Bucherer. Although the new Bucherer watch is reminiscent of noble timepieces from a bygone era, the mechanical movement is a masterpiece of modern watchmaking.

The edition of the watch is limited to 188 pieces.
