He has won Olympic gold three times, the Tour de Ski three times, the overall World Cup three times and World Championship gold once. Dario Cologna starts the new season in northern Finland on November 27. The most successful cross-country skier was on the engine test bench at the national sports center in Magglingen together with teammates from the Swiss national squad to determine where he stands.
"The values are good," said the 30-year-old from Graubünden, "that matches the impressions I had from the training." Representatives of the Swiss Automobile Industry Association (AGVS), led by Central President Urs Wernli, were present at the performance test as interested observers. Dario Cologna has been associated with the AGVS for years as an ambassador for the AutoEnergieCheck (AEC).
