Lamborghini Veneno, Koenigsegg One, McLaren P1 and Bugatti Veyron are waiting for new owners in Geneva.

First and foremost, a private collection consisting of 25 hypercars, supercars and other luxury cars. All will be called without a minimum bid. The estimated value of the vehicles alone is 13.5 million francs. Four weeks before the auction, it will be possible to view the catalog online.

Bargains are available from 700,000 francs
The list of automotive highlights, the estimated values of each of which run into the millions: Lamborghini Veneno, one of only nine roadsters built for the company's 50th anniversary, Ferrari LaFerrari with only 1,000 kilometers on the clock, Koenigsegg One, the rarest vehicle in the collection, because there have only been six in total of the vehicle presented in Geneva in 2014 (how profane that sounds for such a projectile: 1360 kilos with 1360 hp!). Others include a McLaren P1, one of the 375 hybrid supersport models, and Aston Martin One 77, so named because only 77 were built. Last but not least, a Bugatti Veyron 16.4, at an estimated 700,000 to 900,000 francs the bargain of the bunch.

Collector's passion or speculation
These six have all driven surprisingly few kilometers, the Lamborghini even only 325! This suggests that someone either wanted to build a very private show, with sounding model names and rare distribution, something beautiful to look at.

Then you wonder why they have to go now: Are they no longer pretty enough? Or they were merely used for speculation, bought at their launch and deposited until the market calls for them. The collector's world is its own, not all movements are unconditionally greeted. So it will be interesting to see if new holders will be found for these rare little plants. On the two days before the auction, Friday 27 and Saturday 28 September, you can admire the cars at the Golf & Country Club Bonmot.
