In the 2015 financial year, both BMW and MINI and BMW Motorrad posted new record sales figures in the vehicle market in Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein. The new President moves from Austria to the company's headquarters in Dielsdorf in the canton of Zurich.
Kurt Egloff, who began his professional career in 1977 with an apprenticeship as a car mechanic in Switzerland, completed both the master craftsman's examination and a degree in economics in the following years and gained a wide range of experience in the automotive industry. Among other things, he was Head of Sales and a member of the Executive Board of BMW (Switzerland) AG from 2004 to 2012.
