Thrilling wheel-to-wheel duels, smoking tires, flying gravel and light touches. This Swiss championship offers everything that makes up real racing! Except that it's not real. It's virtual racing on the simulator and they're looking for the Swiss sim racing champion.
Porsche 911 GT3 Cup is the beginning
Eight professional machines from this championship are at the Auto Zürich Car Show this year. All Swiss products built in Horgen (ZH) at the RacingFuel Academy. They are all fully networked so that the sim racers can race against each other on the same track.
Your race car? A Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. But that's just the beginning. The RacingFuel Academy's programming allows visitors to drive vehicles of any kind: from a Trabant to Lewis Hamilton's Formula 1 bolide.
Swiss professional racer at the final
There is a choice of all the world's great race tracks: from Albert Park in Melbourne (AUS) to the legendary Nürburgring (D) and Zolder (B). At Auto Zürich, visitors can try out these professional machines not just for fun. Every evening, the fastest of the day can take part in a final race. Each time, a Swiss professional racing driver from the real racing world will also start as a VIP starter.
Qualification for Swiss Championship
And if that wasn't enough, three visitors will have the chance to take part in the Swiss Simulator Racing Championship next year. The fastest drivers in the Standard, Ladies and Ü40 categories will qualify for the final on 27 June 2020 at the Porsche Meeting in Mollis GL.
This makes Auto Zürich 2019 the starting signal for the Sim Racing Swiss Championship 2020. You can find out more information about the series in detail on the Internet.
