Emotional sound experience in the interior
Like every electric car, the e-tron GT comes with the legally required Acoustic Vehicle Alert System AVAS, but it is embedded in a broader acoustic spectrum. A loudspeaker in the front radiates the sound.
If the customer orders the optional sound package, a second, large speaker is added in the rear. In parallel, two speakers in the interior are designed to provide an emotional sound experience.
The GT's sound was created on the computer, in the sound lab, in the car and in customer studies.
Drive Select System Decision
The e-tron GT sound is constantly remixed by two control units, depending on variables such as speed or pedal position. The driver can use the drive-select system to set whether and how intensively he wants to hear it.
