To match the new strip, Aston Martin is launching the Vantage 007 and DBS Superleggera 007 editions, developed and manufactured by "Q by Aston Martin".
The department produces special editions such as the new 007 models and offers the option of having a car customized as a contract service.
Original Aston Martin V8 is the model
The Vantage 007 Edition is inspired by the original Aston Martin V8 that made its James Bond debut in 1987's "The Touch of Death" and is also featured in "No Time to Die."
Based on the Vantage, the 007 special model features new, characteristic styling elements, first and foremost a special grille with chrome surround.
On request also with a ski rack
Other distinctive details include a diffuser accented by a broken yellow line inspired by the warning stripes on the movie car's missiles.
With reference to the winterized sedan in "The Touch of Death," there is a ski rack and ski sets for the Vantage 007 Edition.
The special model is painted in the authentic Cumberland Grey exterior color, and the interior features Obsidian Black leather and dark chrome, as well as a 007 logo on the center console in the manual transmission versions.
Reminder of the Russian police radio
Another subtle reference to the film can be found on the sun visors, where the VHF radio frequency 96.60 is embroidered - 007 fans know that James Bond was able to listen to the Russian police radio on this frequency in the car radio and thus escape.
And the driver will find even more opportunities to reminisce about the film. A laser-engraved plaque in the center console, for example, refers to the film car's many technical refinements and weapons, from lasers to rocket launchers, target monitors and ski booms to rocket engines.
The Vantage 007 Edition is available with manual or automatic transmission, features a special badge in the door entry and is limited to a total of 100 units worldwide.
The twin-turbo V12 engine produces 725 hp
The 007 edition of the DBS Superleggera is limited to just 25 units worldwide. With 725 hp, the 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 is currently the brand's most powerful engine, and the 900 Newton meters are the highest value ever achieved by an Aston Martin for the road.
These performance figures are accentuated by a number of styling and design optimizations.
These include the special Ceramic Grey paint finish and numerous elements made of black carbon - such as the roof, mirror caps, splitter, diffuser and Aeroblade II.
The shiny black, diamond-turned 21-inch wheels with Y-spokes were also created exclusively for this special model.
Contours of the seats with red accents
The cockpit of this 007 Edition looks like a luxurious cocoon thanks to its dark leather-clad surroundings, where the contours of the seats are highlighted by red accents.
A plaque in the door entrance makes it clear that this is one of only 25 examples of the DBS Superleggera 007 Edition.
The DBS Superleggera 007 Edition is available from 279,025 pounds (around 320,000 Swiss francs), the Vantage 007 Edition from 161,000 pounds (around 185,000 Swiss francs). The cars can be ordered now, with delivery starting in the first quarter of 2021.
