Enjoy the distinctive sound of the most powerful production car Alfa Romeo has ever built.

Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm, the most powerful production cars in the brand's history, are projects of the technical partnership between Alfa Romeo and the traditional Swiss racing team Sauber.
Performance and racing are part of Alfa Romeo's DNA.

Victory in May 1950 in the very first Formula 1 race in history was just one highlight in the history of the brand with the iconic Biscione crest. The future world champion Nino Farina won the European Grand Prix at Silverstone at the wheel of the Alfa Romeo Gran Premio Tipo 158, better known as the Alfetta.

Special models
Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Räikkönen have been competing in Formula 1 with Alfa Romeo Racing Orlen since 2019.

Development of prototypes and their production
The Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA/GTAm project benefited greatly from the partnership with the Swiss team Sauber. Sauber Engineering, for example, provided know-how for the development of prototypes and the production of carbon fiber body components.

These components include the front bumper, the side skirts, the diffuser under the rear bumper, as well as the discreet rear spoiler of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA and the large rear wing of the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm.

Pilots mainly completed tuning runs
Antonio Giovinazzi and Kimi Räikkönen were also actively involved in the project. The two Formula 1 drivers completed tuning runs at the Alfa Romeo proving ground in Balocco (Italy).

They focused on the specific aerodynamic and handling solutions. They analyzed in detail all the modifications made to both special models and reported their impressions to the engineering team. Formula 1 drivers and technicians worked together to optimize the fine-tuning of the vehicle dynamics.
