Across
The Across offers an unusual size in Suzuki's program. This allows the brand to attract new target groups.

The Across plug-in hybrid combines a 2.5-liter internal combustion engine and two electric motors. The more powerful of the electric motors (134 kW) is at the front, while the smaller one (40 kW) drives the rear wheels on a case-by-case basis. That adds up to 306 hp, which is quite a lot of power.

Purely electric up to 70 kilometers
Of course, the essence of a plug-in hybrid is to drive electrically as often and as far as possible. Around 70 kilometers are always possible.

Basically, the Across starts moving electrically by default, unless the driver wishes otherwise. The driver has a few switches and a rotary control next to him. The system is easy to understand.

Relaxed and purely electric cruising
And then the Across certainly drives as you would expect from a car with over 300 hp. Consumption settles between 3.3 and 5.5 liters. The real strength of the Across lies in relaxed and electric cruising. The Across is equipped with electric all-wheel drive for off-road driving.

With the Trail program activated, which also assumes the function of an automatic locking differential, power is always directed to the wheel where there is currently the most grip.

Quality material and complete equipment
The interior materials of the Across are of high quality. The nine-inch touchscreen in the center is important for information (also for the power flow). The Across offers connectivity for smartphones via Android Auto or Apple Car Play.

The standard features of the Across will warm your heart. The Japanese has LED headlights, 19-inch alloy wheels, a 9-inch touchscreen and a softly foamed cockpit. The trunk volume is 490 liters.

The assistance systems include adaptive cruise control, an active lane holder, traffic sign recognition and a cross-traffic alert system. The automatic emergency call system E-Call is also on board. This makes driving really fun.
