Škoda: Enyaq iV becomes a lifestyle car 🎥
NICE AND FAST The new coupé version of the Škoda Enyaq iV differs little from the base model in technical terms. However, with its large glass roof and hatchback, it is designed to increase the electric customer base.
Since its launch in spring 2021, the Enyaq iV has enjoyed great popularity as the first fully electric Škoda. With its refreshing exterior and ample space, it makes the Czechs' move toward electromobility attractive to a wide range of customers.
Exclusively 4×4 models at the start
Now Škoda is following up with the coupe version. Typical features are the hatchback and the huge glass roof. In addition, the Coupé iV RS version is now also the first fully electric RS model on offer.
Since Škoda knows the preferences of Swiss customers well, only 4×4 models are available at the market launch. For 59,800 francs, the Coupé iV RS is available in the Lounge trim, and for 60,470 francs as a Suite. Prices for the other models will be announced later.
However, according to new info from the manufacturer, the launch may be postponed to the fall "due to the current Ukraine situation."

Body with improved aerodynamics
The Czech VW subsidiary puts the new coupe on the lifestyle track with numerous features. Despite the coupe silhouette, the large but comparatively thin glass roof allows rear passengers plenty of headroom - and opens up a clear view of the sky.
Compared with the standard Enyaq, the coupe body brings further improved aerodynamics. Thanks to the low cW value of 0.234, an additional 10 to 15 kilometers of range are possible.
Most of the vehicle's functions are operated via the central 13-inch infotainment display, while the most important data and information can be read on the 5.3-inch instrument cluster or on the head-up display with augmented reality.
System outputs from 265 up to 299 hp
In terms of performance, the 80x and RS models are similar, of course with small advantages for the more powerful RS version. The two reach the 100 km/h limit from a standstill in 7.0 and 6.5 seconds, respectively, which allows them to perform confidently on the road at all times.
For the buyer, one thing is clear: Those who place more value on sportiness and a correspondingly tight chassis setup choose the RS. But those who prefer comfortable cruising are well served by the 80x version.
Not only the system outputs of 195 or 220 kW (265 or 299 hp), but also the precise progressive steering contribute to the driving pleasure. However, the high unladen weight of around 2200 to 2300 kilograms becomes noticeable when cornering at speed.
However, if driven with foresight, the new coupe - which can be regulated in several recuperation stages - can also recover a lot of energy. Fast charging of the 82 kWh battery is possible at up to 135 kW and takes 36 minutes from 10 to 80 percent.
