Polestar 2
With the new versions of the Polestar 2, the Volvo subsidiary aims to reach larger target groups in Switzerland.

In addition to the already available dual engine with 300 kW (408 hp) and a large 78 kWh battery, two front-wheel drive versions are now also available, either with the large battery and 170 kW engine (231 hp engine) or with a smaller 165 kW battery (standard range) and a 64 kW (224 hp) powertrain.

Ranges vary according to power
With the top model, the long-range battery is expected to cover 450 to 480 kilometers, while the weaker front-wheel drive model is expected to run out of juice only between 515 and 540 kilometers. According to the factory, the entry-level model has a maximum range of 440 kilometers.

Characteristics and premium feel

Thomas Ingenlath, CEO of Polestar: "2021 is the year when Polestar 2 will really take off. In the new variants, we have made sure that even the less expensive vehicles lose none of the special characteristics and premium feel. Even the entry-level model without optional equipment offers the distinctive design and a high level of equipment."

Sustainability and striking design
The Polestar 2 also continues to focus on sustainability and design. The exterior and interior design is virtually indistinguishable between the variants.

All versions of the Polestar 2 should be equally attractive and arouse emotions. This has succeeded well without question

Audio system with eight speakers
Special signature features such as 19-inch wheels, front and rear LED light design, and Polestar's signature frameless mirrors have been retained.

Noteworthy are the standard high-performance audio system with eight speakers, front and rear parking sensors and a rearview camera. When you go for a test drive, you should enjoy the sound, just cruise and enjoy life.

Pure electric sprint an experience
First impression after a short trip around Zurich: The pleasant feeling during the purely electric sprint is also experienced with the new versions. That's something you have to experience. It's clear that the 400 hp is different from the 231 hp or 224 hp.

The interior of the Chinese-built Swede feels good right away, there are really no differences to the top model, and the fact that you can start into the Polestar world quite cheaply is certainly good news.

Orders only via the Internet
Interested parties can order the new variants of the Polestar 2 exclusively online and see and test drive them at the Polestar Space in Zurich at Oetenbachgasse 1a (phone 044 208 88 88) from September.
