Opel Insignia 1.6 CDTi ecoFLEX with 136 hp: Felix Egolf and Christoph Bleile are pleased with the remarkable fuel consumption result.

The route led via the Black Forest to the headquarters of Adam Opel AG in Rüsselsheim, where Felix Egolf was welcomed by Christian Müller, Vice President GM Global Propulsion Systems - Europe. The hypermiling tour continued via Münster and Oldenburg to Cuxhaven.

On the way back, Felix Egolf made a detour to Hanover to visit Continental's headquarters. Via Göttingen, Kassel and St. Gallen, the journey ended in Zurich-Kloten, where he was met by Christoph Bleile, Manager Public Relations Opel Suisse. The journey covered exactly 2111 kilometers on one tank of fuel. The combined standard consumption of 3.8 to 4.1 liters per 100 kilometers specified by the factory was undercut by ten percent. A strong performance by man and machine.
