Nissan: Ariya electric car manages up to 544 kilometers 🎥

DRIVE AS YOU WISH With the Ariya, Nissan is taking the next step in the development of electromobility. The comfortable crossover model is available with front-wheel or all-wheel drive and a range of up to 544 kilometers.

Even more than in previous models, Nissan wants to place ergonomics and comfort in the foreground with the new all-electric crossover Ariya. After a final adaptation to the demands of European customers, the Ariya, which was launched in Japan two years ago, will now also be available at Swiss dealers from August.

Nissan Ariya
With the height of 166 and the ground clearance of 18.5 centimeters, the Ariya crossover is on SUV level.

Pleasantly spacious interior
The Ariya is built on the new CMF EV platform from the Nissan-Renault alliance. Thanks to this platform and the compact drive components, it was possible to create even more space for the passenger cell.

With the air-conditioned front seats and generous legroom in the rear, through to the electrically sliding center console and panoramic roof, the developers ensured even greater comfort.

A wide dual-screen display provides the driver with all the information and controls for the infotainment and assistance systems. A head-up display shows the most important navigation information on the windshield. Numerous switches can now only be operated as fully integrated elements. The seats, steering wheel and center console can be individually adjusted, and the positions can be saved using the memory function.

Special vote for Europe
As a front-wheel drive vehicle, the Ariya with the two battery sizes 63 and 87 kWh delivers drive outputs of 160 and 178 kW (218 and 242 hp) and a torque of 300 Nm. This makes the 4.60-meter-long and, at 1.66 meters, amply tall sedan briskly on its way.

Three driving modes, the Propilot assistance system with Navi-Link and the switchable e-pedal make driving pleasantly comfortable. With a weight distribution of 52:48, direct steering and increased damping forces for Europe, the car also demonstrates a high level of handling and driving dynamics.

As an all-wheel drive vehicle, a powerhouse with 306 hp
Equipped with two engines, the Ariya Evolve e-4orce delivers 225 kW (306 hp) and 600 Nm. This allows it to reach 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds, and a top speed of 200 km/h is possible.

The range of the AWD model is given as 500 kilometers, while the front-wheel-drive models manage up to 544 kilometers. With the CCS charging system, the Ariya with 87-kWh battery can recharge up to 350 kilometers in 30 minutes of energy.

The first models will be available for test drives in Switzerland from August. The Evolve 87 kWh variant is available for 62 790 Swiss francs. The Ariya Advance FWD 63 kWh and the 4×4 version Evolve 87 kWh e-4orce will arrive in Switzerland in early 2023 for 53 490 francs and 66 790 francs, respectively.
