Volkswagen: History meets in Murten 🎥
WHERE YOU MEET With up to 120 registered vehicles of all model series from all over Europe, the previous vintage VW meetings on the lake in Murten were a complete success.
The International VW Oldtimer Meeting in Murten is also this year a journey through time thanks to the abundance of original, exclusively air-cooled vehicles and its unique atmosphere. The show will take place from Saturday, August 20 to Sunday, August 21, 2022, on the shores of the lake.
The following vehicles can participate (only unmodified or period-correct vehicles): Beetle, KdF-Wagen, Type 82, Type 166 until 1957, special bodies on VW chassis until 1967, Karmann Ghia Type 14 and Type 34 until 1967 and Type 2 (Bus, Transporter and others) until 1967.
Free admission and gala dinner on request
Admission to the meeting for spectators is free and visitors are invited to spend a great day riding in vintage Volkswagen cars, strolling through the picturesque medieval town or taking time to visit some of the many historic buildings.
The participation fee per vehicle is 40 francs. The optional Saturday evening event with gala dinner costs 50 francs per person.
