Rally classic: 30 teams fight for points
WHERE TO MEET The list of participants in the popular 10th Historic Rally Poland, which runs until next November 14, is a colorful mix. The 30 teams come mainly from Eastern European countries.
Of the 30 classic cars competing in the 10th Historic Rally Poland through this weekend, eleven will also be competing for the 2021 FIA Trophy for Historic Regularity Rallies (HRRT). The competitors come from Poland, the Czech Republic, Russia, Bulgaria, Italy, Hungary, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium and Estonia.
The oldest vehicle has the vintage 1951
The oldest car was built in 1951, the youngest in 1990. The oldest starter in the HRRT field is a 1966 Porsche 911 Monte driven by the Poles Marcin and Mateusz Stryczak.
Almost 1000 kilometers on public roads
The Rally Poland Historic starts in the small town of Wieliczka, which is close to the historic city of Krakow. The historic rally covers 968 kilometers on public roads. Various special tests and skill drives spice up the event.
