Puch G: Comeback with Lorinser Classic

The classic car professionals turn the ex-military into a purist restomod to the taste of modern off-road fans. The result can be seen in five variations at Retro Classics in Stuttgart (March 7 to 10, 2019). Until the end of 2000, the G-Class was marketed as a Puch not only in Austria, the country of manufacture, but also in Switzerland.

New colors for the Swiss classic car
The Swiss Army models restored by Lorinser have a long wheelbase and were used as flatbed trucks. There is room for up to six people on the longitudinally mounted benches, with the driver's cab separated by a robust grille. The off-road vehicle from the early 90s were repainted by Lorinser Classic in various colors, among others.
One example, for example, wears a cool matte black and has been given a new tarpaulin in contrasting red. To ensure that the design concept is retained even when the top is down, the leatherette seats on this model are also in the signal color.

Automatic transmission and gasoline engine with 230 hp
Managing Director Marcus Lorinser: "There are many original army off-road vehicles. That's why we didn't just want to restore the base true to the original, but create something new. With a G, no matter what age, you have to be able to go through thick and thin at any time."
The new (old) model is equipped with LED work lights in the bumpers and a winch, and a trailer coupling is also not missing. Sufficient drive power is provided by a robust 230 GE gasoline engine with 116 hp in combination with an engine-friendly automatic transmission.
