The most important classic race weekend in continental Europe will be held for the 48th time from August 7 to 9, 2020. After the responsible authorities approved the infection control and hygiene concept drawn up by the Nürburgring and the AvD, the green light was given for the historic racing event steeped in tradition.
However, only 5000 spectators with personalized tickets, distributed over three open stands, are admitted. The booking is now exclusively online at this link possible.
Two days live on the Internet
In a pinch, everyone else will get the 2020 AvD Oldtimer Grand Prix delivered directly to their homes. Together with Nürburgring TV, the organizers are realizing an extensive livestreaming that captures the racing action from the track as well as the stories behind racing classes and vehicles.
There will be eight hours of live coverage on both Saturday and Sunday, with RTL reporter Peter Reichert, who is well-known for his Formula 1 broadcasts, also contributing. With a camera team, he captures automotive stories in the paddock. After all, spectacular vehicles and driving legends such as Jacky Ickx and René Arnoux have signed up.
