Old vehicles enjoy great popularity. The first editions of the Lägern Classic have shown this. Up to 900 cars and motorcycles and up to 5000 visitors met in Würenlos.
With the pandemic restrictions last year, it was clear to the organizing club that no classic event could take place. That is why the Lägern Classic Cruise was organized with start and finish in Würenlos. The route led around the Lägern - with around 250 old and youngtimers.
Attractive prizes for the best photos
In 2021, the two forms of meeting and cruise are now to be brought together. There will be a meeting on the premises of Huba Control AG in Würenlos, and there will be attractive prizes to be won on the Cruise with photo stalking around the Lägern.
OC President Stefan Mathys: "We are confronted with two challenges. On the one hand, we don't know today what the situation will be in September, and on the other hand, we have a different traffic situation on the event site."
Talking shop around aged vehicles
In any case, it will take place on Sunday, September 5, the fourth edition of the event. Again there should be a rendezvous in Würenlos for the friends of old sheet metal, whether with two, three or four wheels will be.
Things get underway at 9 a.m. when the fairgrounds around Huba Control AG at Industriestrasse 17 open. Then the petrol talks can begin. Or you can marvel at one of the special exhibitions organized by the OC.
Vehicles up to the year 2001 are eligible to participate. Admission is five francs per vehicle. Admission is free for visitors.
