Organizer Georg Kaufmann: "It's like the real Indianapolis race. In the event of rain, there will be no racing in the Steeplechase for safety reasons." On July 27, nothing should stand in the way of the unique motorsport spectacle at the nostalgic open cycle racing track in Zurich-Oerlikon. Around 5000 spectators make the pilgrimage to the sports facility built in 1912 just outside Zurich. They are enchanted by around 60 spectacular vintage cars, which present themselves in the open paddock and in nine racing fields during demo laps from 6 to 10 p.m. in the steep-walled oval. Delicacies include genuine Indianapolis race cars from the 1930s. In addition, there will be legendary racing cars as well as numerous motorcycle classics and sidecars from long-forgotten brands. From 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a restaurant and open paddock. Admission 20 Swiss francs for the preservation of the Open Racecourse Oerlikon.
