Exhibition in the exhibition
In addition to the cars that Graber coachbuilt, an "exhibition within the exhibition" features photos, documents and objects from Hermann Graber's active period (1926 to 1970).
Hermann Graber's original drawing board, on which his 1:1 plans were created, and the garden gate in front of the Grabers' house, which is shown in countless post-war delivery photos, are also an endearing part of this display.
Alvis Graber Cabriolet as a wooden model
The last TF 21 chassis to roll off the Alvis production line was delivered to Graber in Wichtrach, where it was fitted with a convertible body. Werner Haas was still working on this body as a coachbuilder at Graber in 1968. The car can also be seen in the exhibition.
This last Alvis Graber convertible was also the 1:1 template for a wooden model that Werner Haas rebuilt in well-stored ash wood for the exhibition in Basel.
