Master starts with the legendary ex-Siffert Lotus
The overall victory in the Lurani Trophy was secured by a Swiss in 2015. Jo Siffert became European champion in 1961 in this Lotus 20 with an 1100 Cosworth engine. Today's owner Peter Studer had the car tuned up by Bruno Weibel at Schaffner Racing in Birmensdorf, and in return the Zurich native, who is also talented at the wheel, is allowed to drive it in races. Many other Swiss will be at the start of the good two dozen races and demonstration runs on Saturday and Sunday - considering their attractive racing cars, they will definitely look good.
