As the weather was fine and the predicted thunderstorm failed to materialize, everyone in attendance got their money's worth. Race director Karl Marty sent around 50 vehicles into the oval, where normally only bicycle races take place, three times for demonstration runs. The track with its steep bends provided the ideal setting for an impressive racing event reminiscent of the famous Indy 500. Fittingly, some pre-war racing cars built for Indianapolis were also seen in action. Like the circuit ban, this is also unique.
