Car museum: classic car meeting place in eastern Switzerland

WHERE YOU MEET In eastern Switzerland, Renate and Peter Hürlimann have opened a classic car museum. On display there are racing cars, racing boats, airplanes and vintage cars dating back to the 1920s.

Car Museum
The oldest car in the collection at the Automuseum Lömmenschwil is this Renault vintage 1922.

A new car museum has been created between St. Gallen and Romanshorn, where racing boats and airplanes from bygone days can be seen alongside classic cars and racing cars.

Renate and Peter Hürlimann open their museum on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 am to 5 pm. For individual events or guided tours, groups of five or more can also visit the exhibition during the week by appointment.

Models show history of mobility
The exhibition is rounded off with more than 5000 model vehicles, which show the whole history of mobility. Coffee and cake or a cozy aperitif can also be booked in the bistro. The large parking lot in front of the Automuseum Lömmenschwil is also perfect for club outings.

Admission prices are ten francs for adults, eight francs for apprentices, students and young people. Children have free admission.
