A total of ten finalists qualified for the "Race to SEMA" online contest with Continental as the main sponsor, giving them the chance to take part in the final and decisive challenge for the main prize - the trip to Las Vegas. Supported by two helpers each, the teams collected points for victory in the tasks at five different posts.
Event with motivated participants
Mathias Feyer, Service Advisor Garage Bifang Trachsel AG, and Simon Mötteli, Automotive Mechatronics Technician Auto Mötteli GmbH, prevailed and are now flying across the big pond. Mathias Feyer: "I can hardly wait to travel to Las Vegas" Simon Mötteli doubled: "It seems like a dream. I can't believe it yet."
Solène Grosjean, responsible for the MechaniXclub: "The last Challenge was a great event with lots of sun and motivated participants." Oliver Spuler, member of the ESA management and responsible for purchasing, marketing and sales adds: "The finalists were all great! But Mathias and Simon more than deserved to win."

ESA founded the club at the 2011 Motor Show as a service for young industry participants. The clear aim is to offer benefits not only to the companies, but also to their young employees. The only condition for joining the industry club free of charge is to work in the Swiss automotive or bodywork industry.
