In a survey conducted by the data service provider Schwacke and the magazine "Auto Bild," the vehicles with the lowest predicted depreciation were identified in twelve categories ranging from subcompact cars to luxury cars. In a special category, the electric cars with the most stable value were honored.
Good rating for the Four E-Rings
The victory among the electric cars went to the Audi e-tron, which according to the calculations of the market experts still has a residual value of 58.65 percent after four years. Second place went to the Nissan Leaf with a predicted residual value of 58.51 percent, and third place went to the Hyundai Ioniq with 57.27 percent. So residual value concerns are unfounded. As in previous years, the electric vehicles with the most stable value among all vehicles achieved places in the top third of the value champion table.
Dacia Sandero with lowest depreciation
With a total of four first places, Audi was the most successful brand in the survey. BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Porsche each had two class winners. VW, Mazda and Land Rover came first once each.
As in previous years, the car with the lowest absolute depreciation once again comes from Dacia. However, this should come as no surprise given the low base price of the Sandero. You can find all the detailed results on the Internet.
