More than 200 national and international exhibitors will be on the Allmend in Lucerne from October 1 to 3. All exhibition halls and open spaces of this year's Swiss Classic World are occupied. Various classic car clubs and also the Swiss Museum of Transport will be there.
Paradise for fans of long fins
Once again, there will be a wide range of offerings for lovers of US vehicles - those are the ones with the long fins - in Hall 4. There, US car specialists will offer vehicles as well as accessories and supplies. Furthermore, the new bar Hangar Rockin' will provide additional atmosphere.
Synthetic fuels are an issue
The classic car scene must also actively address the future of its vehicles. Climate change and the CO₂ problem are important issues here.
That's why there will be a forum on the topic of synthetic fuels for the first time at the Lucerne trade fair on Friday, October 1, with national and international experts.
Tractors, racers and Jo Siffert Memorial
The Friends of Old Agricultural Machinery FALZ will present classic tractors, the Swiss umbrella organization SHVF is organizing a special microcar show, and the Jo Siffert Memorial (gallery above) will show a Porsche 917 in the legendary Gulf look.
In addition, the Swiss Car Register is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special exhibition.
