Volvo: Reunion for owners and fans 🎥
WHERE TO MEET The Swiss Volvo Meeting has been held every two years for over 30 years. This makes it one of the oldest Volvo meetings and one of the three largest events of its kind in Europe.
This year, Bulle, the second largest city in the canton of Fribourg, will be the destination of owners and fans of the brand from August 25 to 27. During the event days, around 700 Volvos, from vintage to new cars, are expected in the Espace Gruyère center. In addition to various stands, the special show "Classic Volvos" as well as the rally, which leads along a special route, will be the focus of the event.
Spare parts new on offer
On Friday there is the cultural Tour d'Horizon with a visit to the Gruyère cheese dairy, the Cailler chocolate factory and the extended visit to the historic town of Gruyère. At noon, a surprise awaits the participants! It's definitely worth taking part.
Saturday and Sunday are the popular Volvo meeting days. For the first time in Switzerland, there will also be a spare parts market, and in the public competition, among other things, you can win two Kontiki direct flights to Finnish Lapland in the winter.
Preservation of classic vehicles
The organizing IG Swiss Volvo and Volvo Club Romand are committed to the preservation of classic motor vehicles as a rolling cultural asset. A highlight of this year's Volvo meeting will therefore be the Saturday evening program, where, in addition to culinary highlights of the region, the topic of classic cars will not be neglected.
