With the record result in the first half of the financial year, Volvo Switzerland is seamlessly following on from the successful 2018 financial year. Natalie Robyn, Managing Director at Volvo Car Switzerland AG: "We are naturally delighted that we were able to continue the positive trend for our brand in 2019. With over 8100 registered vehicles, we already set a new sales record in 2018. Following the current trend, we will also be able to break our target of over 9000 new registrations by the end of 2019."
The Swiss family likes the Volvo XC60
The Volvo XC60 remained the best-selling model in Switzerland in the first half of 2019, closely followed by the new Volvo Besteller, the XC40 city SUV and the Volvo V60 sports estate. A total of 4594 Volvo models were registered in Switzerland in the first half of 2019.
Exactly 440 of these are plug-in hybrid models. Volvo Switzerland is thus maintaining its leading position in the plug-in hybrid segment. With the recently launched XC40 Plug-in Hybrid, the brand now offers its entire model range with the innovative twin-engine technology.
