This app is an updated version of the Volvo on Call app and is intended to serve as a platform with many features.
From July 1, drivers of all-electric Volvo models will pay the equivalent of just around 0.38 francs per kilowatt hour at the more than 340 Ionity fast-charging stations.
Olivier Loedel, Head of Ecosystem Electrification at Volvo Cars: "We are pleased to offer customers one of the most competitive prices for charging with Ionity." Tatu Kulla, CEO of partner company Plugsurfing doubles down: "Customers want easy access to public charging infrastructure."
Volvo Cars app becomes a digital charging platform
To make charging more convenient for customers, Volvo is currently developing the Volvo Cars app into a digital charging platform. This will integrate functions such as navigation to charging stations, remote control of the charging process, as well as charging instructions and payment options. This app is an updated version of the Volvo on Call app and is intended to serve customers as a convenient platform with many functions.
