The crowning glory at the top of the tower is Volvo Trucks President Roger Alm. Pretty brave.
To demonstrate the power and strength of the four new vehicles Volvo FH, Volvo FH16, Volvo FM and Volvo FMX, Volvo erected a huge 15 meter high and 58 ton tower by stacking the company's four new trucks on top of each other.
Unusual working day
And on the top truck, the President comments on the daring stunt.
Roger Alm: "This is our biggest launch to date at Volvo Trucks. The vehicles will have a huge impact on our customers' profitability and their ability to compete for both orders and the best drivers. I'm used to being on top of things. But the shoot with the tower was definitely an unusual day at work for me."
How the tower was built from four trucks is an organizational masterpiece.
New models for four series
With the launch of the four new model series, the show is probably the most sensational presentation by a manufacturer of all time. The FH, FH16, FM and FMX will be replaced.
Naturally, the Swedes accompany this event with a spectacular film in which they also do something that no one has ever risked before: they place the four heavy trucks on top of each other, with the lowest one - an FMX with Dynamic Steering - being moved.
