ANNIVERSARY On April 29, 2018, Amag celebrates 70 years of importing Volkswagens. AutoSprintCH is looking for the stories and photos of customers of the first hour, which they experienced with a Volkswagen. The millionth VW Golf is prepared for delivery at the Birrfeld delivery center in 1989. The Wolfsburg car became Switzerland's automotive darling.

Some of you have already responded to our first call, and there are some great stories among them! We can't get enough, so send us yours! Our readers have experienced a lot with their Volkswagens! We read about trips without a clutch cable, about punctures at the really worst possible moment and about cars that are to blame for strange events - we'll reveal exactly what in the April issue of AutoSprintCH and on the website.

The first Volkswagens arrive in Switzerland by rail. The picture was taken in 1954. Even then, customers were eagerly waiting for their car.

Wanted are contemporary witnesses of Volkswagen history
We are still looking for more Beetle contemporary witnesses. But also everyone who ever drove a Bus Type 2, which made a career as a Bulli, a Karman Ghia, the 1500, the 1600, the Passat. Or later a Porsche 914, a K70 or courier car type 181 and of course the Golf, worthy successor to the original Volkswagen Beetle. We will publish the best stories in the April issue of AutoSprintCH and on the website.

Deadline for photos and texts is March 15, 2918
Write down in short words about your personal story, title: "My first VW". The article should have a maximum of 500 characters including spaces and send us a photo. The texts will be adapted editorially. Please send text and photos to info@autosprint.ch. The deadline is March 15, 2018. The legal process is excluded.
For every story printed, AutoSprintCH donates 100 Swiss francs to the Theodora Foundation, to which Amag has been closely associated for many years. Background: The hospital clowns of the Theodora Foundation drive to their missions in funny painted Skoda vehicles.
