Volkswagen: good CO2 fleet value in 2021
DONE DROUGH THE CRISIS The effort was worth it. Last year, the Volkswagen Group and its brands fell slightly short of the CO2 fleet target set by the EU for all new cars sold.
According to the company, the average value was 118.5 grams per kilometer against a limit of 120 grams. This is mainly thanks to the increased proportion of electrified vehicles.
Individual assessment for Bentley and Lamborghini
17.2 percent of all Group models delivered were electric cars and plug-in hybrids. Bentley and Lamborghini, with their relatively high fuel consumption, are assessed individually and are therefore not included.
