Vignettes
Those who cannot show a valid vignette or have not affixed it correctly risk fines.

This also applies to the digital annual vignettes for Austria. From February 1, only the new vignettes for 2020 will be recognized.

Severe fines for misdemeanors
Those who cannot show a valid toll sticker or have not affixed it correctly to the windshield must reckon with sometimes high fines. The most expensive is in Slovenia, where up to 500 euros can be due.

In Austria, such toll violations cost at least 120 euros - tampering with the vignette twice as much. In Switzerland, around 180 euros plus vignette costs are payable, and in the Czech Republic sums starting at 200 euros.

Increase in tolls
In Austria, the tolls for 2020 have increased. The new price for the annual passenger car vignette is 91.10 euros (+1.90 euros), for two months 27.40 euros (+60 cents), and the ten-day sticker now costs 9.40 euros (+20 cents). The same prices also apply to the digital vignettes.

In Switzerland, the annual vignette for drivers from Germany has increased in price by 1.50 euros due to the exchange rate and has cost 38 euros since December.

Stable prices in Slovenia
In Slovenia, prices remain stable: 110 euros for one year, 30 euros for one month and 15 euros for seven days.

The cost of the toll in the Czech Republic is 60.50 euros (+50 cents) for the annual vignette, 18.00 euros (+50 cents) for one month, and 12.50 euros for ten days, unchanged.
