The new Advan A052 sports tire is one of them. The successor to the legendary A048 is expected to set standards in many areas. It already meets the 2018 ECE R117-02 limit and is sold in Switzerland by Yokobo AG in Kreuzlingen, which specializes in motorsport tires.
New tread compound
According to the supplier, the fact that it also offers great environmental compatibility and a good energy balance in addition to its performance on the slopes lifts its new tread compound into a new dimension. The predominantly closed tread is of course an ideal prerequisite for its excellent dry grip.
Wet grip improved
Compared with its predecessor, however, its wet grip has also been improved by 13 percent and noise reduced by as much as 24 percent. The Advan A052 is available in 19 dimensions from 16 to 18 inches. At various track days this spring and summer, Yokobo will be present with tire service at touring and formula races throughout Europe.
