Crossover Toyota C-HR: The new model with hybrid technology will go on sale in Switzerland in early 2017.

Toyota AG even reports a share of over 70 percent in sales contracts in the first four months. Due to the high demand and in order to guarantee delivery, higher production levels were requested from the manufacturer. Christian Künstler, Director Marketing and Sales of Toyota AG: "We are pleased about this development. With this starting position, we are a big step closer to our goal of increasing the hybrid share of all passenger car sales to 80 % by 2018."

Hybrid successes with new Prius and RAV4 launches
Toyota's high hybrid share in recent months was due not least to new launches such as the Prius and the RAV4, which is also available as a hybrid. However, the largest contribution to the good result was made by the popular small car Yaris (around 60 % hybrid share) and the mid-range Auris model (around 80 % hybrid share). The latter, which is available as a hatchback and a station wagon (Touring Sports), is also popular with fleet customers thanks to its size and low operating costs thanks to hybrid technology.
